GETTING STARTED

The Beacon Mobile App is an accompanying app to the Beacon Emergency Dispatch Platform. If your agency hasn’t yet signed up for an account, the app will only show you a few generic demo screens.

PURPOSE OF THE WALK-THROUGH

This walk-through was created to provide a brief overview of how to use the Beacon Mobile App. To learn about the comprehensive set of functions and features included in the app, please read the Beacon Mobile App v3.0 Manual for First Responders.

IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING

IMPORTANT: If your agency already has a Beacon account, make sure that your account administrator has created a profile for you through the Beacon Dispatch Website before you download and register the Beacon mobile app on your personal phone. You will know a profile was created for you when you see a map of your agency’s catchment area after registering through the mobile app.

If you see a map different than your agency’s in the mobile app, or you’re not receiving alerts after you’ve set your Availability Status to “ON-DUTY” in the app settings (and also double-checked that you registered the app with the correct phone number), follow these steps:

  1. Go to the app settings and set your Availability Status to “OFF-DUTY”
  2. Uninstall and delete the Beacon mobile app from your phone
  3. Ask your administrator to register your name and phone number through the Beacon Dispatch Platform (make sure they have the right phone number)
  4. Reinstall the app on your phone and then register your name and phone number through the mobile app (make sure you use the right phone number formatting with the correct country code)

Hatua Tano Za Kutumia Program Ya Beacon

Hatua 1: Thibitisha mwitikio

  • Eneo la tukio (onyeshwa kwa alama nyekundu)
  • Eneo uliopo ( kama umepewa nafasi na Beacon ya kuhudhuria eneo la tukio) na
  • Njia rahisi ya kufika

Kusitisha tukio, bonyeza kitufe cha sitisha

Kutibitisha uko tayari kwa mwitikio, bonyeza kwenye mstari mweusi juu ya taarifa ya matukio kusoma zaidi taarifa

Baada ya hapo utaoneshwa kadi ya taarifa fupi ya tukio ambayo inaonesha taarifa zote za tukio kutoka kwa mtoa taarifa.

Kuthibitisha uwezo wako wa kuitikia mwitikio wa tukio:

  • Bonyeza kitufe cha muda utakaotumia mpaka eneo la tukio
  • Tumia kihesabu muda kinachoonekana kwa kuingiza muda unaokadiriwa kutumika mpaka kufika eneo la tukio (ETA) kwa dakika na/au masaa (haijaoneshwa)
  • Bonyeza kitufe cha bibitisha upande wa kulia wa kioo chako ili kuifunga
  • Baada ya hapo bonyeza kitufe chathibitisha upande wa chini wa kulia kwenye kioo cha simu yako

Baada ya kutuma ETA, Beacon itafanya vitu vitatu:

  1. Kukupa nafasi ya kuhudhuria eneo la tukio na kukuambia
  2. Itakuambia usubiri wakati inaendelea kutafuta miitikio mingine ambayo ni karibu na /au
  3. Itakuambia kuwa wewe hauhitajikiki kwenye hili tukio (au umechelewa kujibu)

HATUA 2. THIBITISHA KUFIKA KWENYE ENEO LA TUKIO

Waitikiaji waliochaguliwa kwa ajili ya kufika eneo la tukio wanapewa machaguo matatu:

Chaguo 1: Sitisha

Bonyeza kitufe cha Sitisha kujiondoa kwenye tukio na kujiweka sawa kupokea taarifa ya awali ya matukio mapya

Chaguo 2: Sijaweza kuona

Bonyeza kitufe sijaweza kuona itamtaarifu mtoa huduma kuwa haujaona eneo la tukio na/au mgonjwa, unahitaji kujua taarifa zaidi. Mara baada ya taarifa kupatikana, eneo husika la tukio litatumwa kwa njia ya kuchati na pia itaoneshwa kwenye ramani ya tukio.

Chaguo 3: Tibitisha

Bonyeza kitufe cha cha Thibitisha ambapo itamtaharifu mtoa taarifa na beacon kuwa umewasiri salama eneo la tukio.

HATUA 3: THIBITISHA KUHITAJI VIFAA ZAIDI

Waitikiaji wa kwanza ambao walio thibitisha kufika eneo la tukio watatumiwa meseji ya tofauti inayoonesha kama kuna mahitaji zaidi yanayohitajika. Waitikiaji wote watarukia HATUA ya 4 baada ya kuthibitisha kufika eneo la tukio.

Bonyeza kitufe cha mahitaji zaidi ili kuona kwa kifupi (haijaoneshwa) waitikiaji wote walio chaguliwa kwa ajili ya tukio, ikihusishwa na majina yao, aina ya usafiri wanaotumia, na muda watakaotumia kufika eneo la tukio.

Kuomba vifaa zaidi , tumia alama⁺+/- kuchagua vifaa vya ziada vinavyohitajika. Mara baada ya hapo bonyeza Thibitisha upande wa chini wa kioo chako cha simu

Kama hauhitaji vifaa vya ziada, acha alamna ya +/- weka “0” na bonyeza Thibitisha chini ya kioo cha simu.

HATUA 4: THIBITISHA USAFIRI KWENDA HOSPITALI

Kuthibitisha kuwa mgonjwa anatakiwa kushafirishwa kwenda hospitali fuata hatua zifuatazo:

  1. Chagua namba ya wagonjwa watakao safirishwa
  2. Chagua hitimisho la hospitali watakayopelekwa
  3. Chagua muda unao kadiriwa kutumika mpaka kufika hospitali kwa dakika
  4. Bonyeza kitufe cha Thibitisha

KUMBUKA 1: Taarifa ya ziada. Mara baada ya kubonyeza kitufe cha thibitisha, ujumbe utatumwa kwenye hospitali kuwataarifu unapeleka mgonjwa kwenye hospitali yao. Ujumbe huu utakuwa na jina lako na namba yako ya simu kama ikihitajika kuwasiliana nawe.

KUMBUKA 2: Usafiri zaidi ya mmoja. Kama upo na kikosi cha kutoa huduma ya kwanza na mmoja ameshathibitisha usafiri, unaweza kuzuia kuwepo na usafiri zaidi ya mmoja kwa kuweka ”o”, na kuchagua kwa usahihi hospitali na kisha kubonyeza kitufe cha Thibitisha.

Kama hautompeleka mgonjwa hospitalini, bonyeza kitufe cha hakuna Usafiri , na utaendelea kwenye taarifa fupi ya muda wa tukio (step 6).

HATUA 5. THIBITISHA KUFIKA HOSPITALINI

Waitikiaji ambao waliothibitisha kufika hospitalini watapewa machaguo manne kwenye hatua 5:

Chaguo 1: Taarifa ya kuchelewa

  1. Bonyeza kitufe cha alama ya Saa upande wa kushoto
  2. Tumia kihesabu muda kuonesha muda utakao chelewa kwa dakika
  3. Bonyeza kitufe cha Thibitisha

Mara baada ya kuthibitisha kuchelewa, meseji ya ujulisho itatumwa kwa mtu aliye orodheshwa chini ya hospitali ikimjulisha kuwa utachelewa, pia na wale wote walio orodheshwa kwenye orodha ya ujumbe na Beacon.

Chaguo 2: Hitaji msaada

Bonyeza kitufe cha Hitaji msaada upande wa kulia kama unahitaji msaada. Mara baada ya kubonyeza, meseji itatumwa kwa viongozi wako, waitikiaji wengine waliochaguliwa, na hospitali, ikiwajulisha kuwa unahitaji msaada na kuwapa mawasiliano yako.

Chaguo 3: Sitisha usafiri

Bonyeza kitufe cha Sitisha kama unataka kusitisha usafiri kabla ya kuwasili kwako katika eneo husika. Mara baada ya kubonyeza, utahamia kwenye taarifa fupi ya tukio.

Chaguo 4: Thibitisha kufika hospitalini

Bonyeza kitufe cha Thibitisha kutibitisha kufika hospitalini

TAARIFA FUPI YA TUKIO

Taaarifa fupi ya tukio

wakati ambapo mtoa huduma atasitisha kushiriki kwenye tukio atapokea taarifa fupi inayoonesha muda uliotumika kwa kila hatua iliyokamilika. Kupokea taarifa fupi ya tukio kunaashiria kuwa mtoa huduma hato husika tena kwenye hilotukio, na pia atakuwa tayari kupokea taarifa za matukio ya awali mengine.
