Perry Robinson, MD, MBA

Perry Robinson is the Managing Director of GIS Strategic Ventures, the VC and Growth equity arm of The Guardian Life Insurance Company where he focuses on healthcare and technology portfolio company investments.  Current strategic investments include; PokitDok, Zebra Medical, H2 Wellness, FDNA, Maxwell Health, and CoHero Health. Previously, Dr. Robinson was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns where he built and managed Primary Insight, a wholly owned subsidiary, which provided investment advisory services to the firm’s Hedge Fund, Venture Capital, and Private Equity clients. Dr. Robinson is actively engaged with charitable medical missions in Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and India. Dr. Robinson holds an AB from Harvard College and a dual MBA/MD degree from Columbia Business School and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Meghan FitzGerald, PhD, MPH, RN

Meg is an operating executive for Cardinal Health, where she is responsible for one of the company’s fastest growing divisions, Specialty Solutions. Previously, she was a Senior V.P. at Medco Health Solutions, Inc, and has also held positions at Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals, Merck and Sanofi in France. She earned her Doctorate in health policy at New York Medical College, and her MPH from Columbia University where she is current adjunct faculty.

Quinton Friesen, MHA

For nearly 20 years, Quinton was the Executive V.P. and C.O.O. of Greenwich Hospital, a Yale-New Haven Health System hospital. Currently, he is a consultant with SIM, a Charlotte, N.C.-based mission with health and medical programs in over 25 developing countries. Quinton received his Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Dean Patterson, MSc, MPH

Dean is currently the Executive Director of Occupational Health & Wellness at Banner Health. Previously, he was the Global Health & Productivity Manager for Unilever, worked as a biokineticist with Mondi Paper. Dean received a master’s degree in biokinetics from University of KwaZutlu-Natal in his native South Africa, and also received his MPH from Columbia University’s Executive MPH program.

Scott Friesen, MA

Scott is Founder and CEO of Newport Credentialing Solutions, a premier provider of cloud-based software and IT enabled services. Prior to starting Newport in 2009, he was a regional V.P. with Apollo Health Street, and has served as an advisor to Science House, an early stage investment group in math and science-driven startups. He received his MA from Yale University.
